Not to mention they act as though gender-affirming care is only used to change physical appearance, as if altering your body's hormonal makeup is an entirely cosmetic affair. Limiting access to HRT is going to do much more than just revert your physical assistance; hormones matter.

The proposal includes as gender-affirming care "puberty blockers, sex hormones, and surgical procedures". They argue that "some stakeholders" believe this care doesn't fit in the 10 categories of EHB, despite including prescription drugs (HRT) and mental health disorders (such as gender dysphoria).
