Entra ID sign-in logs. I wasn't able to find them in LA just yet. Ideas?

Not affiliated with MS, but the source works for me (Canada). Maybe just a temporary outage?

Is it possible to disable the Search flyout from the Start menu?
March 25, 2025 at 3:51 PM
Yes, I am hoping that there is a way to change this somewhere in the Settings or Search? The main issue is that just clicking into the Search field switches the view and not only after an actual search was done. Then you either have to click on the Start button again or press the Win key as you said

Ideally, the back arrow ("Back to home") should take me back to my previous view ("Pinned") and not Search "home".

I want my life to be like that. Sadly for me it's Teams.

Took me 15 years to realize that and figure out that's the real way to implement any change - have the backing of the executive suite.

100%, I find that in every engagement someone thanks you privately for bringing a topic up that they couldn't due to politics. But being the minority voice is exhausting and frustrating so YMMV.

I find it to be exactly the same and I think (at least in my case) it's the specificity of the ask and scale. Asking AI to write a very specific PowerShell or KQL query vs "an application with capabilities" type asks control what side of the line AI is on.

Thank you for a great summary. Too much attention has been given to "having MFA" and not enough to what MFA actually means as part of a solution.

Sorry to hear that your project is experiencing corporate greed. I am thinking about switching over from Samsung to Google Pixel and running Graphene. Is there a list of apps known to block your OS? I rely on my phone for work and forced to use the MS suite of mobile apps and a few others.

Oh they know, they are just too scared to do anything about it or too busy to care. "Bob was here for 5 years, what happens if we need access to something...". I've seen the same disabled user moved around between groups for over a year now. Want to see how long he'll make it before it's questioned.

Connection to the cluster shows as successful but devs are not able to execute PY scripts for Airflow DAG. Looking for assistance with connection setup and code. Never done anything like this so pardon the incoherent rambling trying to describe the problem.

What is the outcome of this dynamic app profiling? Extra data on their network behaviour or some type of control with the firewall?

2 mals, Deanna girl, Ryker boy lol. She was abused and very emotional now, he's a brute with zero F's to give. Worf would have been a better name but we got him before we knew his personality.

Probably 90% of my passwords are based on quotes from those movies. Pets are named after TNG characters.

@insta360official.bsky.social Uninstalling the KB resolved the issue and the camera is visible to the OS again. Contacted vendor support so they can address it as a lot of cameras will stop working today.

I suspect it has to do with this update rolled out last night - KB5050009 - "[Windows Kernel Vulnerable Driver Blocklist file (DriverSiPolicy.p7b)] This update adds to the list of drivers that are at risk for Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) attacks.
