I have an interesting story in this one. But it was my artwork that push me to write. Every time I draw, I make a story to fantasize, and imagine my characters move and talk.
Another reason would my favourite films particularly Lord of the Rings. Then anime and everyday life. I’m always inspired.

Opening lines start with a diary: Chapter 1 Astra Diary to deal with grief 1st of May, 2094 Dear mom… or God, God, what truly makes someone experience true happiness and freedom again if they only thought of existing is to simply just exist? Funny, I’m named Astra, in Greek means the star, but I don’t feel like a star. My light is dim. In my opinion, people deal with grief in different ways. Some shops or drinks. And some become workaholics to distract themselves… like dad’s. But in my case, when mom passed away from cancer almost a month ago, I became isolated, locking myself in my room as an idea of being independent. Also… God? Can you tell mom that I miss her? Thanks. Mom, it’s getting worse. I go against literally what dad says even if it is for my benefit. It bothers me to see him sometimes in the kitchen, crying by himself ‘coz I no longer dine with him. I want to approach him, but… I fear he might yell at me. Maybe because I don’t listen to him… But I believe it’s because he doesn’t want to be seen. Well, he’s now the head scientist at McConnell Scientific Research, and he’s always in constant stress. You know, he’s always this tough guy who cries alone. I want to reconnect, but dad ends up dictating my day-to-day life. I hate it! I’m done! I– “Astra,” Mr. O’Donnell calls me. “Focus on here.” I give a slight nod to hide my frustration, putting my pencil down and facing him. He doesn’t even let me finish my diary. “Where was I? Oh, right. Do any of you believe in the existence of the extraterrestrial?” Half of the class raise their hands, but I don’t raise mine. I don’t know if I have the right answer. At least for now, unless I see an alien with my two eyes. “You, Astra.” Mr. O’Donnell picks me yet again to answer, embarrassing me in front of the class. “Do you believe in the possibility of alien civilization?”

My third WIP: YA fantasy with romance as B plot. Currently outlining a detailed 3-act structure. I will follow the recipe of my all-time fav successful films and books. There will be dragons, political intrigue, detailed maps, war, magic and huge ensemble cast.
