I know, I played that bug riddled mess of a game. Croteam at least pay *some* attention to level design and how it interacts with enemy composition (e.g. a long, narrow hallway full of Kleers). Painkiller is circle strafing in flat arena #163 while you quick swap weapons out of boredom.

Who is asking for another Painkiller installment though? The IP missed the point of classic shooters even more than Serious Sam imo.

Co-op will likely be a saving grace as it's really hard to not have fun playing with friends.
