since the start of the year when i joined my job, ONE person has asked my pronouns - and it's the most appreciated and validated i've felt since working there. because the alternative is my coworkers getting it wrong and now i have to have an awkward conversation or try to ignore it for 6 months

i got the chance to confront a group of people about this and they were afraid to have asked what my pronouns were.
we need more education into cishet spaces that asking that kind of thing is absolutely ok and even welcomed!!

i agree, but also it sucks to watch new people swap to addressing me as he/him in real time despite everything else about me being feminine. like buddy cmon really?
