The language explicitly makes you handle it, Result<T,E> can't be used as a T. Unwrap is probably the easiest way to handle it, if the Result is Ok(T) unwrap returns T, otherwise panic.

It might be a communal meta-cognition thing, if a practice is so embedded that its normal it is then generally unconscious. You only think about and thus talk about how great practices are if they are differentiated from the norm.

One thing I've had to learn is when a software developer says "productive" they actually mean roughly what a psychologist would call "positive affect". It has no relation whatsoever to any objective scientific/engineering concept of tangible ratio of output to effort, it's just mood.
