Day 1 was exquisitely curated, well done. Not sure if it’s blasphemous, but to me The Killing outclassed Reservoir Dogs across the board. Food for thought.

That quote, if I may say so, doesn’t make much sense to me. It’s a fine documentary but it is Rebecca Miller’s and nothing like a Scorsese picture.

Hmm.. Rotten Tomatoes have MI as #83 on their best heist movie list. Also The Killing is at #11 but not listed in the heist noir strand for FN UK fest. There’s definitely something dodgy about heist as a genre (especially with caper also knocking about)!
