Had a visceral reaction to this news. I lived three blocks away and spent way too many Friday and Saturday nights drinking margs and eating guac under the bar’s winged buffalo. A lot of good memories of this place. It will be missed.

This time feels different. We’re still heartbroken but it’s colored by anger and a kind of freedom. Our eyes are clear this time. We know the truth of it.
