Don't underestimate this 'trading tip'.

Too many traders, especially beginners, hurt themselves not because their own investment calls are bad but simply because of emotions.

I hope this helped :)

I for example would never blame EA for my failed fodder investment. I didn't blame myself.

It's nobody's fault, instead it's a completely normal procedure that something with good potential still fails.

✅ stay rational
✅ go with what has the best potential

2. When something failes understand that:

🔹 EA is not your enemy
🔹 trader's who give you tips are not your enemy
🔹 you are not your own enemy (if you invested because of your own idea)

...you know is a high point just because you are not happy with result is completely stupid ❌

The market owes you nothing. it doesn't care about you. So no matter if you are happy or not, you need to sell when you know it's not going up.

Some more examples of things that are important to understand to not let emotions impact your decisions:

1. The market is neutral and only reacts to supply and demand, it doesn't care about what you bought something for.

Keeping something at a moment...

2️⃣ Learning

Eventually you will find yourself in situations where something that had potential just doesn't work.

That's is not a problem ✅

However what is a massive problem is when emotions caused from a failed investment let you miss the next opportunity ❌

Selling fodder at that moment to reinvest in live cards was always going to be the most efficient move. The fact that fodder didn't rise as I hoped did not change this.

As a trader you always have to invest in where you see the highest potential no matter what.

Some days later fodder still had not moved but the live card's already looked like I would make more coins on them as I ever could have made on the fodder cards.

While this was of course an option and the time would probably have come when I would have made profits on my fodder, I still decided to sell and bought pro live cards instead like these ⬇️ as originally planned.

The most dangerous emotion for a trader is to be scared about a loss.

Thoughts come up like:

🔹 Should I really sell for a loss?
🔹 I didn't hold this investment so long for no profits

--> I will hold longer until we get an SBC that lets my fodder explode

Unfortunately the content did not push fodder as it did in the years before.

When things go as expected, it's easy to be rational but here I came into a situation where a lot of people make mistakes because of emotions...

Of course I left myself some coins to trade with flash SBCs, fodder IFs etc. but as planned I put most of my coins into:

87s for 15k - 17k
88s for 22k - 25k
89s for 34k - 37k
90s for 48k - 51k

1️⃣ An example

Two years ago before Black Friday I released two big thread's, explaining what what my main targets where:

🔹 high rated fodder before Black Friday to sell during Black Friday

🔹 live cards in the panic during Black Friday

If it doesn't happen and like in FC 25 no interesting player doesn't get a TOTW then so be it.

Not every technique works every time but it's important to be prepared for whenever it does 🧠

(13/15)
September 11, 2025 at 7:56 AM
And if one of them has a TOTW worthy performance it can never hurt to pick a few up :)

They might not quadruple in price like Fernandez but I am sure if the right players go out of in first 2-3 weeks there is profit possible 👀

4️⃣ Will it work in FC 26?

I don't expect SBC rewards to be tradeable again. However if they are it would be massive for this method.

But even with untradeable rewards it can never hurt to identify interesting cards...

(11/15)
September 11, 2025 at 7:56 AM
Two things can hurt this investment technique though and both happened in FC 25:

1. SBC rewards being untradeable reduces the demand as less people complete them

2. If simply none of the 20-30 players gets an IF in the first weeks, it obviously also can't work.

(10/15)
September 11, 2025 at 7:56 AM
3️⃣ Why it didn't work in FC 25

First of all I want to show you examples from FC 24 (all TOTW 2 cards):

Palacios: 1k --> 4k
Neres: 2k --> 3.9k
Talisca: 1k --> 700

Talisca's wasn't high enough but overall the profit was good 💰

Usually you should find something between 20-30 players in the game that are very relevant for these advanced SBCs.

Enzo Fernandez is just one example but there are always others like Butez 👇
