Not sure whether I'll end up trying to work on it myself, or sending it off to someone with more know-how... or if I'll just try sourcing a replacement computer/motherboard as unfortunately that's probably the cheapest way to go

I had tried to squeeze it between the bezel and a bump that I'm guessing covers a hinge. But even with that I'm surprised that was enough to crack it

Not the end of the world, but I do really like this laptop and figured on keeping it even when I eventually get its replacement. So I don't love that I damaged it, even if it's superficial
