After their tag match at Full Gear I got really excited with the possibilities the tag division can offer. In such a short amount of time we’ve seen wrestlers adapting really well to their partners and I’m interested in what they can do with more mileage. I don’t trust TK with that though.

There was a time I would only keep up with aew through live tweets and I never got HOOK’s appeal. This year I’ve watched every single show and the dude has shown nothing other than being good at throwing people around, but he has no follow up to that.

I remember people crashing out because they thought Darby was the one to dethrone Mox, then crashing out again with the possibility of Ospreay winning the Owen over Hangman. We can debate the stories Hangman had in this run with the belt, but crashing out AGAIN after the great year he’s had is wild.

I feel like when there’s too much Darby, it can get boring pretty quickly, one of the reasons I wasn’t excited with the possibility of him dethroning Mox. I’m not a big fan of the “being thrown around like a rag doll most of the match and still winning somehow”. He had a great match with PAC though

From this list,if I’m not wrong, the only people who weren’t crowned in with a belt are Tay, Abadon, Anna and Skye (who’s still in the run for tag gold) I know TayJay being around from early days helps keeping their names on the list, but I hope they can make a case for carrying a belt in the future

Yeah. When they were first introduced, I was like “oh nice, that can be an interesting change to The Opps presentation”. But then Swerve handled all of them on his own, and I thought “Nah, they won’t matter”

I only care about it when there’s discourse about it. Like when someone makes you self conscious about breathing or blinking and you start paying attention to it. Usually I’m more concerned about bumps, but I guess a picture of two wrestlers with crimson masks is easier to spread around with outrage

You can see him tapping out with his eyes, before actually doing it. Quitting specialist

I don’t have a problem with FTR holding the belts, but I’m tired of Cope, so if that’s the plan, I’ll be bummed out. I don’t want to listen to the Metalingus choir every time se has to cut a promo. In my promotion Cope segments, as well as MVP segments, would all take place backstage, but I digress.

Anarchy at DoN probably

Like when he is asked about Nyla, I don’t think he is being honest about it anymore. At some point this year I thought it was more like him trying to stick with a smaller group of people for consistency, logistics, or whatever. Now it just looks like he doesn’t have anything for them.

People are already making thumbnails where TK has a silly angry face to talk about this interview

Very Don Callis Family of this kid to kick his opponent on the balls. Keep the screwdrivers away from him.

I started muting people who have to bring twitter here all the time. Muting some words/names when they start popping up too often also helps. But I understand your post is more about giving voice to grifters than about an individual experience on the platform

Think about Kaz bringing the belt home as a consolation prize, I’m sure this wasn’t how he envisioned it either. I think they messed up with both guys. There always going to be the “Let it play out” people, but turning Santana’s great moment into a false victory is very unnecessary.

When podcasters and veterans say someone should book something stupid for heat, that’s what they are talking about. Will they get a bump of reactions on social media? Sure. Does that make them look bad? Absolutely.
November 14, 2025 at 3:51 AM
I think matches like that are made to bring out loud reactions of people, that’s partially why people are glazing over it a bit, myself included. But certainly there are more people feeling like you. I appreciate that you articulated your opinion without nitpicking and let us ride that high for now

“Any other time, any other place” National Champion Kyle vs Mox on a random indie show for the love of the game.

I didn’t know about that until yesterday when I saw a compilation of death match spots she’s been in and immediately felt for her not being able to compete.

Same, they got a very hot crowd at the beginning of the show and delivered a spectacle. The company still needs to prove women aren’t the supporting act in the eyes of the booker though. I don’t think that ppv main event will come at Full Gear, but it needs to be sooner rather than later.
November 13, 2025 at 12:49 PM
When they announced the women starting it I was disappointed, because if falls into the company pattern of booking women as a second thought. But as soon as Skye and Willow started, I was glad they got the most hyped crowd possible. The match was everything I wanted.
November 13, 2025 at 12:22 PM
The fact that they managed to pull two of these matches in one night and keep both of them engaging is incredible really. I’ve read some nit picking, but they delivered exactly what they promised.
