Shomash and Aret villages are completely destroyed, with heavy casualties reported. Hospitals are overflowing with the injured. Those in surrounding towns are asked to offer whatever help they can. #Kunar #Earthquake #Afghanistan

Aisha’s first day at school. This time she knows she can’t be stopped by anyone. She knows she will study beyond grade 6th. She knows no one can stop her. I wish all Afghan girls back at home be able to go to school, study and dream.

Aisha was very excited, happy, motivated and energetic.

Aisha will soon start going to school. Zikria is on the waiting list for the kindergarten. A bright future is awaiting them. And Zahra is also registered for kindergarten for Aug 2025. I also posted a short update on the fundraiser.

My Afghan friend who studies in Italy came to Germany. Here, she got sick & appendicitis surgery had to be conducted. She did not have an insurance in Italy. In hospital, we were told it would cost around 2K but today they gave us an invoice for 5366 Euro. None of us have it. I don’t know what to do
