This! Like they can be *next to* each other like romance and manga are thrown next to em but they shouldn’t just be all mixed in, When I want to read about vampires and werewolves fighting I want to read fantasy when I want to read about Spock and Kirk fighting I want sci fi.

I don’t understand why people would buy and return a book. Have they not heard of libraries? They could just. You know rent it for free.

I hear you but - joblessness & homelessness happen, elderly folks going into homes happen, cancer happens. Blanket statements of ‘don’t do this unless” paints a place of privilege that not everyone has and they don’t need your guilt either.

I’ve kept mine for their full lives fyi.

I would think if the principal of bluesky not being click rage bait platform- it makes sense that it just lets it go when blocked.

And by this i mean expanding this to outside down town- mandarin, orange park, near the bases, the beaches, maybe a joint venture with St Johns county and a path to St Augustine. We should be connected.

I am so stoked for this!!! But on a related question, when will we be getting a public transit train system like orlando’s sun rail. We are the right size city- we should have one and we should have it with a planned quickness to go with this.

No. Americans are not. But his ‘people’ are.

So many people cannot afford to do this on the thoughts and prayers that it will be better if we do it.

They created a world where financial security is so poorly distributed people simply cant.

Protesting is a privilege if the stable - they’ve done everything to make sure we are not.

You want best possible or worst case?
Best: they’re letting the ‘children’ have what they want before everyone sympathy pukes and they come clean up. Worst: they’re the same side of the same rigged coin that always lands tails up. Their bit of that coin isn’t covered in grim like the other bit.

And please know I don’t mean survive as in how to balance your checkbook, what’s the point of a credit score, what is a budget, or how to live off the land or garden or grow your own things.

I’m talking survive as in you probably won’t injure yourself working with machinery. Maybe.
January 24, 2025 at 7:35 PM
It’s the same concept. It’s just on a much grander scale and much more covertly indoctrinated. It’s sad that we live currently in a place in history where those empower value looking in the mirror more than looking out the window and seeing the view change

We don’t teach to educate anymore we teach to survive. We teach compliance. We teach it doesn’t matter if you think about it that way you have to think about it this way. That was so ingrained even in my father’s generation that he left-handed person had to do most things right handed

I mean, the way I see this the ‘pass this test or you fail the grade’ that has happened so frequently across many schools is a part of the issue. When you condition people to be scared of being wrong you create a world that is either so proud they will expire on that hill. Or lay down and comply.
