Mostly content with my recreation. It doesn't feel out of place or too off, it acthally feels quite alike overall. although some mistakes have certainly been made.

Nintendo has been pretty anti-consumer for a while but their announced price listings are utterly outrageous. It's crazy they didn't even bother to properly convert the dollar value to the euro value, just being extra overcharged.

Also apparently the console costs like 630 dollars in Canada too. 🤯

Well, "eating/having a meal" the latter is technically correct and that distinction has gotten drilled in for me. Anyway it seems many people go to do a prayer on new year's day would be the most plausible answer.

Question 2 *could* be true as according to nakayama there's now also people eating on restaurants on the first new year day.

Yet 3 is more plausible-- there's many people visiting the shrine on new year's day in Japan. Not all pull a fortune slip and receiving them is not necessarily good fortune.

Mainly, the answer itself talks about creating dishes which is done *until, not on the new month* and the question asks specifically what's done on the new month, which would be eating them constantly until the third day.

I still often feel like I don't get "ように" vocab points well. That often is a bit like "if/in order" but stuff like "なるように" I've always understood as "to become/becomes/for it to become" or something like that.

Still uh, I think the final answer I wrote should be 3 instead.

Also it feels silly reading so much stuff I know in their kanji readings in hiragana. But it's nice knowing I follow it in either. I crammed so much on that so early on that I feel I can read quite a lot of stuff decently now. Still do find new grammar & words regularly too, which is nice & normal.

Yeah I saw, there wasn't any intent to be rude or mean btw. It's pretty cool. Japanese is pretty fun to learn :p
