got home and then shortly found one of the cats sucking down a mouse's tail like a spaghetti noodle.
turns out she's an impressively fast and clean huntress, there was barely any bloodshed. not bad for not having many brain cells.
going to ask vet tomorrow if she needs dewormed now

catsitting for our former next door neighbor who lives in a Mint Properties building. in the year or so since we moved out, a bird has taken up residence in a hole in wall of the front lobby. that's fun! festive! very normal!

shame this beast. she woke me up an hour early today because a neighbor in our building started their shower. she has an automatic feeder that goes off at the exact same times every day.

I got to witness some cool bee friends today! usually I see a majority of common eastern bumblebees in the garden but I caught this black and gold bumblebee and this yellow bumblebee enjoying some flowers today 🐝🤩
