Back from five days in the high desert and actually not back because I’m mentally still in that magical place. Getting up before sunrise every day and watching the desert wake up is divine. Jackrabbits, coyotes, roadrunners, gamble’s quail and 11 other lifers for me. Can’t wait to go back. #birds

We plant tithonia every year here in MN and we typically have TONS of monarchs on it all of late summer-early fall. This past year the numbers were way down. Will be planting some more milkweed asap.
