I'm not in the business of deciding who is worthy of life or death . . . but if I were, people - especially men - who refuse to wear a hat no matter how cold it gets because they don't want to mess up their hair are high on my "worthy of death" list.

The weather where I live was below zero degrees fahrenheit and some dude was out jogging in it. I thought there must be some emergency situation because why would anyone do that?

For like 80 years there was such an unquestionable consensus that murdering millions of people in concentration camps was a bad thing to have done but in the year 2025 the idea that maybe it wasn't such a bad thing after all is creeping into the overton window. Sigh.

One time my bf and I were googling videos of baby animals - baby goats, baby monkeys, etc. - because we wanted to watch cute videos but then we did a search for baby zebra and it was this young zebra getting ripped apart by lions. I feel like there was some important lesson learned.

If you live in northern Illinois, you're not allowed to say winter is your favorite season unless you own a snow-shoveling business or something like that. Some annoying fucking people here say "I love snow" and I'm like good for you being privileged enough to afford that ridiculous perspective.

Just when I feel like my soul couldn't get any more dead, people have to start talking nonstop about the major league football game tomorrow between the Chicago and Wisconsin franchises. Events held outdoors in Chicago winter that cost $800 per ticket . . . What mental illness is this?

I love love LOVE when someone answers a question that's not yes or no as if it were. I'm like, "Is this X or is it Y?" And she goes, "Yes that's correct." Lol.
