no for real. thank you for preaching this apparently unknown truth!

It seems they could also pull back the green space from the intersection too, which isn't a priority over safety and are usually not maintained well anyways. What do I know though? In contrast, the roundabout at Broadway/Uni seems to fit well there.

I believe the roundabout proposal does show a wide truck apron already. I prefer option 2, with some changes. The ghost satellite image underneath the design layout shows enough room for protected left turns without sacrificing safety or four neighborhood businesses.

...so i'm just not sure why demolishing four businesses in the middle of the city is preferable to you. we live here.

ok, well they are contributing to unsafe conditions, so...

Yes, they rendered crosswalks in the roundabout option and neglected them in the reduced lane option, hence my post.

Removing large semis from the equation is safer than a roundabout, keeps the sidewalks intuitive for all users, and not to mention saves a popular neighborhood gem.

well this option is the best! if safety is truly their priority, they would find a way to prevent semi's driving through tight intersections like these.

also notice how they didn't have the gall to render crosswalks into this option, unlike all the others.

but self-sustaining farm communities and global industrialization aren't mutually exclusive to one another?

it explains so much

Wow, I am impressed with these improvements, though I'm not sure about the invasiveness of the options at Uni & Lowry. Is it right for a tight city intersection like this to be accommodating semis?

the mall has, and has always had, public bathrooms. they are on the second floor. but i understand the panic that sets in in those moments. it sounds like you HAD TO GO!!!

Bryant Square Park has tons of free indoor/outdoor activities all year long. I'm sure Whittier Park does too, with free parking. Did you support Arts&Rec when they were open? They had indoor minigolf. Options abound. That said, I think all of us here support more options too.
