On the other hand, Slovenija produces outstanding sportsmen/ women in all kinds of sports, so we might have some cultural / institutional / social /informal setup that reinforces and finds talent?
Might be doping also, but why would the doping mafia only operate in this small low profit place?

I see Omrzel as returning Slovenija to the regular schedule. After pogi retires, he will be our top gc guy, but on a level of Valjavec or Brajkovič (still awesome).
