1. Addresses the team as "chat"
2. Interrupts rounds with requests to "like and subscribe"
3. About 1 minute into lecture, does a second introduction for "the YouTube VOD."

Report in NEJM describing the first critically ill adolescent with #H5N1 D1.1 (aka #BirdFlu) in North America.

A 13 yo rapidly progressed from mild symptoms to respiratory & renal failure. She survived thanks to IMV + ECMO + CRRT.

Scary stuff.

Currently reading "No Country for Old Men"

Not sure if it was absolutely intentional, but it seems to me like Cormac McCarthy wrote it in such a way to intentionally slow the reader down to absorb the scenes and dialogue.

Absolute page turner. Have to force myself to take breaks.
