Yeah that's true, I'm sure it wouldn't be as strong as like a steam machine, but it could just be a alternate bonus feature like "hey it doesn't just do VR! use it on a screen aswell!" gives it a wider use and makes it less "niche" with realistically no downsides

Actually could be really cool if you can use it in a "docked mode" like just use it as a console on a TV

i think that beats another accessibility hurdle aswell.

Because it's really inconvenient to use VR. Its either

1. Standalone Device that only plays VR games
2. Has to rely on another device

So its almost like a portable console, thats also a VR headset

I really feel like part of VRs downfall has been facebooks involvement and turning oculus to meta.

1. No one likes facebook
2. It didn't need a rebrand, you just lost brand awareness for no reason
3. No one wants a metaverse, its not why people buy vr headsets lol
