This is a very convoluted way of saying “Republicans have no honor now”. It used to be that a persons word was their bond. A verbal promise was as good as a contract. When there is no honor and no trust-every negotiation is meaningless.

I think because it shows how unhinged and untouchable he is. Today Reuters reported he’s bought 337 million dollars worth of bonds pre govt announcements of changes that make those bonds more valuable. The corruption is off the charts AND he’s unhinged and what the hell can we do about any of it?

I guess time will tell but I do believe that now she is a victim of rather than a perpetrator of the MAGA movement she helped create, she’s having a bit of an epiphany about how toxic she and her ilk actually are. Will it effect real change from her?
