I recently learned that there are people who purchase every book that they read. This would bankrupt me. I am so thankful for libraries.

Japan has high speed trains from Kyoto to Tokyo more often than my city has buses on the main drag (every 10-15 minutes). How amazing for them and embarrassing for us.

I still think about how offended someone from Chicago was when I asked if she’d been to Minneapolis. She was like do you know how far that is from Chicago? I said yes, that’s why I asked you.

This happened 20 years ago and we lived in New York. I am still so confused about why she was offended.

It turns out I have no idea why anyone is supposed to remember the Alamo.

Why are Regency romances a thing? Other than the fun ones by Alexis Hall (which I love) I only read them because they seem to be everywhere. I do not care about long ago English people and their stupid clothes and customs. Give me contemporary queer romances. Or at least fantasy ones. Please.

Maybe starting a new project in honor of NaNoWriMo, although I have no expectations of finishing it in a month. Especially because I’m just now even hatching an idea.

I’ve been feeling kinda down and then I had someone express interest in a book I wrote and even if it goes nowhere that still feels nice.
