I think the claim that anisogamy is fundimentally and definitionaly dependent on a binomial rather than binary distribution in gamete size has nothing at all to do with trump and has been true for several billion years, since long before the appearance of vertibrates or notochordata.

Species don't start out discrete, but they can definitely end up that way. Or do you think there is still gene flow between chimps and humans?

It makes about as much sense as saying "humans vs. chimpanzees are not binary, they follow a bimodal distribution."

Sexes existed long before humans, let alone culture, so this doesn't quite work.

Your analogy is confused. In an anisogamous species, all (or virtually all) the individuals have the anisogamous trait. It's rather like if all of the bricks of the house had their own roofs. (Leaving aside the debate about whether anisogamy is really a species-level strategy, highly debatable.)

There's no way for a minor to provide informed consent to blocked their normally timed, natural and healthy and necessary developmental process of puberty. Puberty is not a disease. Precocious puberty is an objectively diagnosable, serious medical condition with FDA-approved treatment. Trans? Nah.

NPR still uses latinx all the time, despite poll after poll saying overwhelming majority of Hispanic ppl don't use it and many actively dislike it

There were even NPR interviews where the interviewees were latino, can be heard using the term latino, but the hosts kept using latinx

The point, of course, is that the hypereducated and hyperonline left, especially in academia and NGOs influential with Dems, has a never-ending churn of linguistic orthodoxy which is often uninterpretable or even insulting to the very voters they claim to advocating for. "Pregnant people" etc etc.

You guys gotta decide between "Latinx is fine and a good idea actually and should be used" and "What, none of us Democrats have used that silly term Latinx for years!" You can't have both.

C'mon, this language has been ubiquitous, especially in academia, nonprofits, and HR contexts, all of which fully signed up to esoteric & extreme views on race and gender, encouraged by the Biden administration and Democrat governors, etc. edition.cnn.com/2025/03/20/p...
