I didn't think the Conformity Gate theory was true but I have to say that if it had been and they had managed to not get it leaked and the episode was actually good, then that would have actually been great. I love shit like that. But alas, here we are.

Yeah, S2 does end things pretty neatly but I was interested enough to see what the whole joker card was about. That and one new character's interest in the whole borderland thing did give me hope for this in the first episode. I wonder how if the manga did any better.

Such a shame. I remember liking the 1st season a lot. I don't remember much of season 2 except that there was a lot of poorly done action, i.e. something that I don't think a show like this needed. Oh, and Mira.

I think I've only watched every season once as they've been released. I might go back at some point and watch all seasons back to back to get see how they hold up.

Finished. Still fairly fun but also just so basic. Too many characters explaining what's going on and the big finale falls way too flat.
