make a spare copy and remove references to your online presence where possible just so they can't easily find your socials but you still get to show off work you're proud of

what i do (as a software engineer) is keep my work portfolio separate from my online presence, using my legal name instead of a handle and using school/work projects instead of hobby stuff

It's already been said, but playing games on the original consoles gets harder the older the games get.
Also, emulation has gotten much more accurate thanks to more powerful PC hardware. It's become so close that the differences have little impact on how the game plays.
