Yeah, there's a clause a part of his contract buyout that specifies that. PSU would then be on the hook for the salary difference, Franklin still gets the full $50M

Thanks for the input. If there's revenue sharing, wouldn't other schools get the same benefit? For the booster/AD support, is that a reflection they prefer Medved>Johnson? If so, why didn't they hire Medved initially?

Thanks for explaining the different scenarios and gymnastics the Twins would go through to hold onto a Rule 5 player. If the player doesn't seem to show the progress as hoped, is the $50k posting fee really a discouragement to cut bait?

That's fair amd I agree with a boycott/protest. I just don't think there will be immediate actions by the Tesla board, especially if their valuation is 25X and 31X higher than GM or Ford

Understood, but Tesla as a company (that contributes to Musk's wealth) has a revenue stream outside of selling cars. They also make revenue by selling regulatory credits to other automakers who don't meet emissions targets.

I agree that he's changed recently, but i think part of the story is he no longer chases every lead guard on the perimeter

The issue with the salary diff is due to being in the 2nd apron. I think the Wolves would need to clear $16M to get under that. Then cutting/moving a player to free up salary would help facilitate a larger trade

I don't think this is possible because Fox earns more than Randle and the Wolves can't aggregate salaries
