When will we see a generation of politicians interested in making the world a better place, instead of accommodating the interests of big biz and warmongers? May be we should expect voters to become aware and active on this issue, and force their supposed representatives to do their proper jobs.

It would be important that Blueskey create a segment named Politics Today since @Polsky has mostly become a stronghold of PolSci academics, with no preoccupation with what is going on outside the walls of Academia.
