I’m gonna cry real human tears.

As I said I don’t think we will reach an agreement here. Respectfully, I am finished with this debate and am going to bed now.

I recognize that there are MANY people who want us eradicated. I still don’t believe that it is justification for what has happened. Maybe it’s idealistic of me, but I don’t believe average Palestinians want us all eradicated. I have many Palestinian friends who immediately break that stereotype.

Do you recognize that there have been disproportionate Palestinian casualties??? How is any of the above justification for the death toll and destruction and displacement of these people?

Acknowledge that.

And, to circle back to my original point, Zionism has been used for justification in this war effort whether or not it adheres to its original conceptualization. The movement has become heavily christianized and “colonial” for lack of a better word at 4am. And I think it’s disingenuous not to

I still stand by that what Israel is doing is morally wrong, and I don’t think criticizing their actions is *inherently* antisemitic. It can be. It often is. But it’s also often not.
November 22, 2025 at 11:53 AM
Tbh I still don’t think the semantics matter in the case of antisemitism. No matter if it’s a genocide or an extreme war, Israel’s actions will cause a ripple effect of increased antisemitism worldwide. Which is more proof of antisemitism still being a major global issue.

However…

This is simply something I don’t believe we will reach a consensus on.
November 22, 2025 at 11:39 AM
Again, I thank you for your perspective, and I did learn a fair bit here today, but I just really do not agree with Israel’s actions in Palestine whether or not it’s a genocide or a particularly brutal war. Not saying that there isn’t antisemitism rooted in a lot of anti-Zionism, but
November 22, 2025 at 11:39 AM
Not sure what else to say besides what I’ve already said. I don’t care about the semantics of the war/genocide/whatever the exact correct terminology is here. I care about the victims.
November 22, 2025 at 11:20 AM
To me there’s no justification. And I feel it is antithetical to every Jewish value I was ever taught to support Israel’s war machine.

So while it was lovely to debate with you I think this is where it ends.
November 22, 2025 at 11:15 AM
As I said before, I will read what you sent, but I’m not going to argue the semantics of the power imbalance and disproportionate death toll or turn a blind eye to the slew of people begging for life and proof of their humanity everyday that are victims in this war.
November 22, 2025 at 11:14 AM
I think this is just where we will fundamentally disagree. While propaganda absolutely plays some role here, I feel there is enough proof of the genocide happening that there really is nothing you can say that would convince me otherwise.

Currently suffering jet lag so no sleep for the wicked tonight. At least not yet. But I wanna make sure I am reading what you sent me fresh and not zonked in a weird time zone.
November 22, 2025 at 10:57 AM
Even if I’m to agree that colonialism isn’t the correct terminology here, Zionism has been used as justification for the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.
