All content behind a paywall. Is it possible for you to charge per article than just a membership?

Yes, and the modern tech as well as market sophistication allows for that mid air rewiring with a bumpy ride... Until it doesn't. And that's the uncertainty that we have to live with for the next 5-10 years.

Return them if they don't meet the claimed standard.

Most probably a planet as iron is hard to make even for massive stars

Inept and activist litigators in positions of power are costly to the taxpayers.

Sorry to read this. Some options to consider: 1) Basements below the freeze line (they will normally stay at 15°+), 2) Solar cells powering ceramic heaters

I agree that the consolidation of power can be problematic (oligarchy), but efficient utilization of capital impacts the output quality+quantity. And larger farms offer that efficiency. For example John Deere 9RX costs 1.2 Mil+, but offers productivity and cost savings unseen in smaller tractors.

I hear you, but the affordability for the masses of healthy food is also important for a society to progress, right?
January 20, 2026 at 11:46 AM
How will that work out for economies of scale? Wouldn't it be better for staples to be produced on large farms so the cost goes down for the consumers?
January 20, 2026 at 11:18 AM
But wouldn't these 1% be also producing 40% of the produce?

US farmers could be the generational losers in modern trade wars.

Government subsidies can save their bacon for a week, but the damage is generational as their customers switch to alternative sources.

That's twice the age of the solar system! Wow!!

That's cool! Where are you accessing it? Would love to read/browse...

This should be cool! Artemis platform is the basis for moon bases that will open up the solar system for humanity.

That is interesting! I have read about the boom in apartment buildings in Ontario, but I also see now that rents are dropping due to empty units. Empty units don't make money and start to lose value over time.

2/2 Now there will be speculators, but they have short time horizons and low tolerance for asset under performance. There are multiple ways to discourage speculation and conglomorative ownership. Simplest being tiered taxation (up to 5 properties Vs. 6+) for controlling interest.
January 18, 2026 at 7:36 AM
1/2 I think the investors buy only if they can a) Sell at a higher price with return that is at par or higher than the other assets, b) Generate income (rent) that provides yield (minus all expenses) higher than the market. Empty apartments do not make money for anyone.

Rents are based on demand and supply. All governments should focus on incentivising new construction of affordable homes. Then there is no need for rent control.

Reminds me of Berlin Airport project

That is indeed rare... It takes lot of energy to form Iron...

Glad to read they are safe and home... This scenario is an important drill for more frequent space missions of the future.

Sometimes we put too much focus on Cholesterol. I read a small study of cancer patients where those with low cholesterol had higher mortality. Go figure... 🙆🏽

Can't wait to see these wonderful developments unfold!!

Zero innovation, increasing prices, and failing technology... That's the iRobot story. The founders and executive team should ask questions to themselves.

Another such brand? iFit!! Overpriced offerings without connectivity while their competitors are zipping past. #iRobot #iFit #failing
