Yeah I get that. Idk if this comes off like I'm disparaging you for not having the same takes I mostly just find it kind of interesting. BN5's raw anyway so that's not a bad game to escape to if you're having a rough time.

I feel the button mashing complaint for burst real bad. That's actually a reason I didn't really replay that game for a while cuz in boss fights it got fucking rough without damage modifiers and I kept insisting on using the default gun for some reason.

This is so funny to me as a freak who loves all those games cuz I always pinned iX1 as the one that's just transparently not trying nearly as hard. I can only assume that just ironically makes it more understandable for Normal people lol.

That's part of it but I'm also thinking how both will ocassionally have an instrument or even entire tracks that are punching way above their weight so it just sounds compressed lol.

I like most of that game's music but the main menu is fucking hilarious. Battle's ost kinda has the same energy as MMZ4's where I'm genuinely not sure if they were even thinking about how much it'd get crunched to shit in a GBA and just tried to fit the vibe. Makes me wish it'd get more remixes.
