I've just started commissioning this year - I made 5 requests:
1 answered, and stayed in relatively good contact
1 showed interest, but after a few messages, stopped responding.
1 replied once confirming the message, and after the ask, never replied, even with with a simple no.
2 never replied

As a non new-yorker - didn't Mamdani get a majority of Jewish voters in the Primary - does this mean a sizeable number of the population are not registered Democrats and/or don't vote in the primary?

I get it. I don't think we should drop any skepticism, and its always on politicians to prove themselves. In another era I think we could afford to be more choosy - but right now I think its worth the risk IMO is all. We can't wait for a generation of Zohrans to regain power.

If you didn't think a tattoo you had was bad, why would you suddenly question it during a senate race? You don't know what you don't know and all that.

So, in the current situation - it certainly isn't good for the public if Republicans remove the fillabuster.
But - in Principle - it should have never existed. It needs to go sooner or later anyways because of the disproportionate power it gives less populous states generally.

Extra ironic because the same people rebelling at 'their parents' also seem to be throwing their lot in with the crowd that believe in complete parental authority over their children.

As an aside - feels like not good that the former director of the FBI's family were prosecutors in the DOJ...that feels....like some conflict of interest.
I mean, Fuck Trump and all that - but feels like there are no good actors in all of this.
