I’ve done that numerous times, and most of the time I’ve eaten it anyway, unless it’s truly inedible. Because I ain’t about wasting food.

I’ve completely changed my cooking and diet because of that sort of thing. A lot of simple samey boring stuff, but stuff I can make fast, easy, and in batches.

I definitely understand. I struggle to function most days. Airing it out real good is the first best step, and it will help a bunch. The rest you can do “as capable”, but the baking soda and charcoal do help. You just put them somewhere and they do their thing.

After airing the place out, put baking soda or charcoal bags around to soak the scent, wipe down all the walls and surfaces (I use lemon pine sol), and if you have curtains, fabric, etc, wash them. That’s how I’ve dealt with similar issues.

I had a coworker tried that with me for years a long long time ago. We got on pretty okay, had similar interests, but he’d hit me with that all the time. He was the born again type after quitting the booze and blow (which is great). But he was super insufferable about it. Wouldn’t relent.
