Although, to be fair here, Tsuburaya is a much smaller and less powerful studio than a big juggernaut of a company like Toei, if I were to say so.

Yeah, what can I say? This is one movie you should go watch in cinemas, it's worth your time. I would highly recommend this film. Go see it, you might be pleasantly surprised.

There are some complaints I have with it, the pacing is lil' too fast, the exact opposite problems with Sonic 2's pacing. Some subplots go nowhere, like G.U.N's distrust of Team Sonic. This movie might be, IMHO, the BEST video game movie ever. Like really. I actually got invested in this, more so than in 1 and 2. The actors are amazing in it, especially Keanu Reeves and Jim Carrey, they are the standouts of the whole cast. The action scenes are pure raw awesomeness.

Yeah, it does. But the show we got, was pretty damn good, despite all of that.
It's not my personal fave (that goes to the TDG trilogy), but I applaud Nexus for being risky and experimental, even if it didn't quite succeed. This is something I feel the newer shows are sort of lacking.
