The noble outlaws vs the government (usually the British crown) is a common staple of Aus poetry and culture generally. Love this one.

Returned last year to visit my parents. I had a dream of buying a poetry book from this very specific store in Beechworth. Amazing, turns out the place existed. My wife found this book as soon as she entered. What a gem. Going to start a thread posting some of my favourites.
