When he also signed off on it, ai was kinda still a fledgling tool that wasn't a huge concern at the time. The library was originally only used in Kenobi as a sort of filter over Hayden Christensen's performance.

No yeah, don't get it twisted I agree that consenting to AI usage is scummy as fuck and throws your peers under the bus like crazy.
It's moreso "I don't think when James Earl Jones expected his voice to be used to say slurs in fortnite" so his consent doesn't make that any less fucked up LMFAO

Also like... In the case of James Earl Jones... The dude was *90* when he made that deal too. Not to give the "he didn't know any better" excuse but like I genuinely do not think a man that old and on death's door understood the consequences.

Well the big thing is letting the cartoony stuff happen to them
Like shit gets WEIRD with the characters in that game and they don't shy away from making sure the princesses get their fair share of weirdness (elephant form, p balloon, goomba transformation, etc.)
