I'm referring to their idea of how competitive the want this mode to be. It's not as stressful as regular comp & isn't supposed to be hyper comp that the base game's comp is. It's supposed to be "casually" competitive according to the devs.

Yeah, I agree. It basically was gonna make stadium sweaty competitive as heck if they went that route. It is a cool concept, but not the mode or even game for it.

Tbh, I think it's been overloaded already & the fatigue hit after Endgame aside from a few movies & with Marvel's Quality drop & DC in a very unknown position up till Gunn's takeover I think this is honestly breathing new life into the Superhero back genre.

I can see them having her ult's shield size as a power up, but potentially give it a meter to revert back to normal if ya have it up after a certain time or it breaks. I can also see the brig grappling mace they had in a PvE trailer, & maybe the shield throw if recoils to nearby enemies & inspires?

Maybe, but probably not as long as you think, considering she already has variant abilities made since PvE was being experimented with in prior season events. I'm pretty sure she'll most likely be part of this year, especially if they are releasing multiple heroes in the stadium every season.

Not only that, she's one of the characters they were already experimenting abilities with in prior seasonal events & had abilities already made from the old PvE skill tree it just comes down to optimizing it & making work with everything in stadium.

In an interview with Flats & Karq that Aaron & the other devs did the other week, we pretty much got confirmation we are getting like at least 3 heroes in stadium

I hope they keep the role essential bundles & rotate the skins out each season since its just skins that didn't sell well. It's a good alternative to the season starter pack where if the skin for that sucks you can just buy 2 of the bundles for the same value & use the coins to get the battlepass.

As a D.va main honest, it's just her two minor perks that are eh, her major perks are actually really good depending on who you're going against. If you're going against mauga, Orisa, bastion user the shields gain regen during dm & the mega missles are great against tanks across the board.

Aaron said it's a comp mode. With its own seperating pool. You still earn comp points.

In Flats' interview, Aaron actually said they actually forgot to put the new map that's supposed to come out this year cause of the amount of stuff they already had going.

She was buffed & meta with Widow last season. Then, this season, for no reason, they buffed her again! She needed the Nerfs.

It gives everyone better coordination/awareness knowing exactly whose being targeted that needs support/backup & what situation prioritize. It will be extremely beneficial for both DPS & Tanks to help keep track of how the team is doing. I feel as if this is a long, overdue quality of life update.
