Man. Wild Hearts on its own really makes me want to own a PS5.
It's been very fun throughout the 65 hours I have played so far. Even if it doesn't get any content updates anymore and such, I would still play this for far longer. I believe it to be worth the time, though I would buy it on sale.

This guy here is a hunting legend, but obviously way past his prime. So now you get to stick around and prove you have what it takes to face off against monsters that, as a hunter of Jumbo, you would have no experience with.

Sorry if I spoiled it for all four of you who played the original MH and all three who plan on playing Dos, but being here is cool. It's the only place where you can hunt two certain wyverns in Low Rank, and one of them is only huntable here period.

After you finish things in Jumbo, you can eventually develop the village to a point where you are given a certain offer to go to the birthplace of hunting: Kokoto Village.

Monster Hunter Dos village completed! Didn't take me as long as I expected but it was a fun ride. Now onto beating the Town.
I like this little ending cutscene too, where the Chief of the village just goes off to make a new one now that you've proven to be a good fit for the role in Jumbo.

Spent a lot of yesterday prepping for this. Made an entirely new set that took me way too long to prepare but the skill it gave seemed worthwhile.

Oh, and to top it all off, I got the rare material for Elder Dragons in this game: Elder Dragon Blood. It's like a sub-5% chance of getting one of these.

And here we are. Under 15 minutes, no carts, no problem. The knives they give you at the start to poison it quick helped a bit but my experience was the biggest aid, I think. I knew what I could get away with and I went for it.

It's been a long time coming but finally I get to fight it in a straight brawl with no back up on its home turf.
Kushala's weak against Poison to the point of it weakening its wind powers, so carrying a weapon that inflicts it is vital.
Will post again later with the results.

For the uninitiated, that's a dragon that controls the wind and has an outer body covered by steel. MH Dos was its introductory game.
