The past couple days have been busy in preparation for the new years but was able to have some fun time with friends, boardgames and some homemade soups.

Drove down for the family festivities, but before it could happen had to take a walk on another 70 degree day!! And as is tradition watching the classic christmas movies with them all. It’s always amazing to see how different movies can hit as one experiences life more.

Had a wonderful and wild day yesterday. Between fixing a fence, presents being given, and bar hopping it was a fantastic way to celebrate one’s birthday.

Had a lovely time doing it like the British do with some afternoon tea and snacks. Atmosphere was great and the live piano music was a nice treat.

Finally got a Christmas tree put up (better late than never), in addition to my Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Both were given to me by some of my good friends so had them over for a lovely Asian inspired meal.

Some very kind friends invited me over for holiday tree decorating Sunday with some wonderful peppermint martinis and got to watch Charlie Brown Christmas for the first time. It’s amazing how ahead of its time it was And I loved it!!
