There are entire groups of liberals for whom the optics of the "In this house we believe in..." sign are paramount to the politics advancing human rights and offer no deeper analysis of what it takes to advocate for justice and equality because it requires discomfort, tension, or confrontation.

@lindaholmes.bsky.social How did you watch a 2 hour movie that was an allegory for a modern genocidal conflict and morally justify not mentioning it? Why would you deflect to a 2014 criticism about Superman being a white man saving brown people? The movie was loudly about the Palestinian genocide.
