to be pedantic for a sec, by the scientific method you never really prove anything, you just fail to disprove it until it becomes accepted as a working theory. it’s hard to design an experiment to test for the (non)existence of god, so i’d say i’m strictly speaking agnostic but functionally atheist

that’s probably some of it, but i think a lot probably is in line with what the op said. plenty of ppl with at best a juvenile conception of politics and no compunction about using ai to express it - go scroll the discover tab on this site for instance

agree, i think the abandonment of human potential caused by ai is especially galling in this case precisely because it’s so dumb and easy. if ppl can’t see themselves doing a quick voiceover or clumsy photoshop then what hope is there for more intensive forms of art? it’s fuckin grim bro
