I remember the days when Canada admitted roughly 300,000 immigrants a year & we could handle it w/ no issues. Then Ottawa increased that number to 1.5 million a year & all of a sudden we had a housing shortage & homeless camps. They wanted to juice the economy via population growth & it screwed us.

Going to see Sarah McLachlan tonight & Blue Rodeo on Saturday night. I've seen them both once before. Thirty years ago we went to see Blue Rodeo at the Commadore Ballroom in Vancouver & they had Sarah McLachlan join them on stage. I had never heard of her but was blown away by her voice. I still am.
