Ahhhh, I see. Well, first thing is to simplify things into basic shapes and order them like layers. Maybe use just 1 or two colors, one for the side that is lit, and the other for the side in shadow. I can make a breakdown tutorial for you to show you ways to simplify easier if you would like that.
