I always have to like prep what I'm going to say and then something comes up I didn't expect and I freeze entirely and it sucksssssss

And it's PURELY for phones too!

If I could call my doctor on something like Discord or something, and use my PC for it, I feel like I'd have significantly less issue doing so.

Maybe I'm wrong about that but I just get frozen analysing everything prior to a phone call.

And I'm aware people will say 'It gets easier the more you do it.' and while it's true to an extent, it moreso gets easier calling the same people. Once I've heard the voice on the phone more than once, it becomes a little easier but unless it's a really close friend I still stare for minutes prior.

And this goes for anything. Like my social anxiety makes in person stuff tough, but at least then I'm not on a phone. It's seriously THAT debilitating for me.

I will stare at the dialed number for easily triple the time the call will even last and ruminate about every single possibility.

And the sheer amount of services that require phone calls makes it really difficult to take care of myself properly. Like yeah, of course I need to talk to my doctor about uping a prescription, but in order to, I need to call them

And because of that, I always put it off to last minute.
