This is the old UI, you just pull the screen down twice and you can turn on the flashlight or whatever you need. Now for some arbitrary reason they made it ao you have to retrain yourself to swipe over to another page

@sammobile.com Thanks for a pointless UI update that has completely changed my phone. I didn't ask for it, I didn't want it, now my phone's ruined with an update I couldn't say no to.
Now my pull down menu has been split into 2 screens i have to swipe to the side for.
