A cool and cold encounter, Goss Harag was an unconventional bully to fight in MH Rise. A mixture of a bear and a yeti, with a Noh-like grimace and paws that could shroud themselves in (breakable!) ice weapons. Every hunt was an infight!

10 Monsters I'd like to see in MH Wilds, Day 10: Goss Harag

We saw a lot of fire in the endgame of MH Rise, so I miss the deep-sea-inspired elder dragon! It's especially rare to see multiple elements in one dragon, pushing me around with water and shocking me with lightning. Requires real prep!

The lightning unicorn! Thanks to its speed, relatively small size, surprisingly tough hide, and devastating attacks, I *hated* fighting Kirin in MHW. But I kind of missed them in Rise because they had been such an educational challenge!

The lightning unicorn! Thanks to its speed, relatively small size, surprisingly tough hide, and devastating attacks, I *hated* fighting Kirin in MHW. But I kind of missed them in Rise because they had been such an educational challenge!

A massive turtle-platypus creature with sumo moves, Tetranadon was a delight to encounter in MH Rise. It telegraphed its attacks heavily, but despite being low-ranked those moves packed the wallop of its weight. Really fun to outmaneuver.
