Even when the video starts to go low definition, because of the 5-minute buffer it catches back up to high def without stalling and making me restart the feed.

I have a fiber 1 GB up and 1 GB down connection and I also am having issues. However, if you can ignore social media so you don't see who the winners are, give the video stream a 5-minute buffer time head-start and don't watch live. So far it has not dropped on me since I backed it up 5 minutes.
