“joy is revolutionary” means nothing if your joy exists in a vacuum. if it doesn’t move you to fight, if it doesn’t push you to stand up for others, then it’s just another way to disengage. we’re not free until we’re all free. joy should fuel the struggle, not replace it.

sometimes, i feel really bogged down seeing so many people capitulate to the state of the world right now. there’s still a genocide happening in palestine. migrants are being deported to forced labor camps. our rights are being stripped away.
