Two books on a shelf at indigo one is called Out of the Woods by Hannah Bonam Young and the other is called Into the Woods by Jenny Holiday. The covers are both camping/outdoorsy themed scenes featuring the male and female protagonists. But publishers have always been like this so cool I guess go ahead and build books like you’re building ikea furniture that’s cool whatever if you could please do it in my comfort genre (erudite bibliothriller with light romance) that would be great

There are 129 confirmed cases of measles in Alberta right now so here are some large fruit bowls I threw on the pottery wheel yesterday out of locally sourced stoneware clay.

I like your approach :) I’ve always wished it were true bc Thom in the books is the BEST. It was hotly debated online and in the fandom especially prior to the release of Fires of Heaven - Like dissertation levels of theorycrafting - it was basically canonical in the minds of many fans but:

This mug from my latest kiln load is definitely a keeper. The glaze is Old Forge Sunset with Steve Loucks Opal on the rim. So far the glaze isn't crazing on Plainsman M340 but doesn't seem to fit P300 porcelain well. Glazing is always a learning process.

Waxing all the pots today to get them ready for glazing. I think I might have two whole kiln loads of stuff ready to go between this and some already dipped pots on a shelf in the studio.
