Honestly I get that but I'd play a walking simulator of dark souls games for the art direction and i see no issue with wanting to sightsee in this worlds with easy mode. I Always find it really strange in games like space hulk that have these gorgeous levels but you have no time to look at them.

Style is unreal but I'd be lying if the combat wasn't really frustrating and the opening area lacking checkpoints makes platforming feel tedious to redo. Especially when the boss basically one hit kills you and the eyeball guys just homing attack you along the way. So much potential! Keep it up!

So does the lore imply that some of them are like digital replicas of old lombaxes? Neat way to have oc lombaxes without really having to tackle the lombax dimension plot wall.
